Project Goals
Our project aims to visualize BART ridership data over time.
We want to focus our analysis on a couple of questions (possibly narrowing these down to one):
- Which stations have seen dramatic changes in ridership over time?
- Who takes BART?
This includes the passenger flows between stations, but the existing dataset is rich and will allow us to explore other aspects of BART transit including, but not limited to, comparing different modes of transit to different BART stations, comparing East Bay flows of passengers to West Bay flows, as well as to those who do Transbay trips.
